Hydro Nation Scholar, Yuan Li wins poster competition at the RSC Water Framework Directive Priority Substances conference

Congratulations to Yuan Li for winning the poster competition at November's Royal Society of Chemistry's (RSC) 'Water Framework Directive Priority Substances – where should we control them?' conference, with her contribution 'Optimising the removal of steroid hormones and Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Products (PPCPs) from aqueous media using low cost biosorbents.' This conference was the third in a series and aimed to bring together leading EU and UK experts in the field of Priority Substances listed in Annex X of the Water Framework Directive. The event discussed issues associated with Priority Substance compliance, where they come from, and where best to control them. An article related to Yuan Li's work will appear in an RSC journal and RSC newsletter.
