Dr Bhawana Gupta
Tackling the Challenge of the Water Food Energy Nexus in India and Scotland
Bhawana Gupta is a Hydro Nation PhD Scholar with the University of Dundee and the James Hutton Institute, Scotland. Her PhD research focus on exploring the use of contemporary approaches to address the challenge of the water food energy nexus (WFEN) in India with particular focus on the Peninsular River Basins and building knowledge exchange between Scotland and India.
Bhawana holds a BSc in Physical Sciences from the Delhi University, Delhi, India and MSc in Environment Management from GGSIP University, Delhi, India. Prior to starting PhD, Bhawana has served as Research Associate with Global Water Partnership-India and worked on Stakeholder engagement in the Ganga River Basin.
